lyrics
Close to your young knees
I let my hand wander, seeking your body warmth
It's a very sunny sunday,
People around are enjoying this nice family dinner
There's no one watching, no one noticing,
It's just the two of us
You know me, you've seen me in old stained pictures of times when I was your age
I can feel in your gaze a very pleasant mix of feelings
With a touch of panic
Do I sense panic ?
Except i'm 65
I can now tell your sweat doesn't only come
From this warm summer evening
Heat is rising
And that can't be the only result of the wonderful taste of that wine
I guess a sturdy young man like you would be pleased by the naughty curious fingers
A lady is running on his thighs
Don't you feel needy and alive
Except I'm 65
x2
Okay now, just push that glass away, grab my face, rub my shoulder
get that done
Don't be afraid and tear open that old shirt, anyway i never liked cheesy flower patterns
Please make me feel like a 20 year-old hippie again in a cheap pop-folk festival
Naked and free and open like your favourite pub on a ball night during happy hour
Just throw this mashed potatoe, let this stuffed animal fly high, and pull that boxers down
(uh !)
guitar solo
Keep cool, no stress, everything's fine, just watch and enjoy
Make me young again
Are you aware you're gonna love the gilf and the boy
Take me right here, now the table is clear
Yes, right in front of the whole family
They all think I've been dead for years now, since they don't hear me moan or complaining
Yes, right in front of your stepmother, you always hated her and her cherry pudding
We'll play a nasty version of Beauty and the Beast, and guess who's the hairiest ?
What's with the face baby, anything wrong, first time seeing teeth outside ?
Don't frown don't freeze, trust in me, i guarantee soon you'll start feeling at ease
And while you dive between my tired thighs, please accept that I'm 65
What you fear most in my full faded figure
Is the reflection you get from your own future...
i like the Rick Beato videos and he had shown the track electric sunrise in his video "How To Count Odd Meters". I was very impressed from this song and searched for the whole album and found it at bandcamp ;-) hpaydt
